Here’s the survey the Collective has created to distribute to students after our presentations.

Talking Back to Education
Student Voice, Student Empowerment and
Student Activism

1. Do you feel there any challenges you face in school that limit or make it difficult for you to reach higher education?

2. Do you feel there any challenges you face in your community/neighborhood environment that limit or make it difficult for you to reach higher education?

3. How relevant to your life is the information you learn in school?
1-Strongly Irrelevant 2-Somewhat Irrelevant 3-Neutral 4-Somewhat Relevant 5. Strongly Relevant

4. Do you feel you are receiving the proper resources and opportunities necessary to facilitate your transition to a four-year college/university?

5. Do you feel confident, capable and dignified as a member of your community and
student from Inglewood?

6. Do you think there needs to be any improvements in your school? If so, what would you like to see improve?

7. Are you interested in learning more about social justice issues in your school
and community? Yes or No.
